12 Days - 11 Nights: Imperial Cities and the Sand Road in the majestic Desert
Day 1 – Arrival in Casablanca
- Pick up at Casablanca Airport –City tour and visit to the Hassan II Mosque. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2 – Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes
- Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco: tour of the city, mausoleum of Mohamed V, Hassan Tower, photo stop at the necropolis of Chella, then night in Meknes.
Day 3 – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
- Visit the city of Meknes with its massive walls, you will see monumental gates including Bab Mansour, the royal stables and the grain mills, the Jewish quarter (Mellah).

Day 4 – Fez
- Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco. Stops include: the Merenid tombs with its panoramic view of the city, the Royal Palace (magnificent gate). the tanneries and carpet and pottery craftsmen and the ornate architecture of the Medersa El-Attarine. Night in Fez
Day 5 – Fez – Midelt
- We will pass by Ifrane, the little Switzerland of Morocco, cedar forests and the Barbary Macaques of the Middle Atlas. Night in Midelt the nation’s major producer of apples, walnuts, apricots, and plums.
Day 6 – Midelt – Merzouga
- Panoramic view of the Ziz valley and magnificent palm groves. Short stop at Erfoud, capital of dates, and fossils dating back 360 million years when Morocco was under water.
On to Merzouga located in the majestic dunes of erg Chebbi. Camel ride to spend the night in a berber encampment (standard or luxury tents) under the stars.
Day 7 – Merzouga – Zagora
- On unpaved roads made by nomads, part of the legendary Paris-Dakar rally. Night in Zagora

Day 8 – Zagora – Tinghir
- Drâa Valley, the Jbel Saghro with deep canyons reminiscent of American canyons.
Night in Tinghir, in the Todra Gorge
Day 9 – Todra Gorge – Aït Ben Haddou
- We will pass through the valley of Dades, the valley of Roses, small stop in Ouarzazate, Kasbah de Taourirt and the film studios «Hollywood Africa».
Aït Ben Haddou: visit of the Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou dating from the 16th century, UNESCO heritage. Night in Aït Ben Haddou
Day 10 – Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakech
- To reach Marrakech, we will take the road of the Atlas, road in serpentine, col du Tizi-n-Tichka 2260m of altitude. Night in Marrakech
Day 11 – Marrakech
- Visit of the city of Marrakech rich of nearly 1000 years of history
Bahia Palace – Saadian Tombs
Visit of Jemaa el-Fna Square – Souks – Minaret of Koutoubia – Night in Marrakech.
Day 12 – Airport Transfer
